What is congestion? A simple dictionary definition is
to overfill or overcrowd. So now we know, but the train companies will still fob off passengers with congestion being the excuse.
Let think about that for a moment. "Sorry for the delay to your train this morning, but it is due to congestion on the line ahead." or "Sorry for the delay outside London Waterloo, but this is due to platform congestion."
Where does the congestion come into either of these situations?
Have extra trains just appeared on the tracks? No, there is another problem, congestion is a sympton, not the reason, so stop lying to your customers and tell us the real reason for the delay. |
